Raider Nation Celebrates Excellence at the Second Annual Red Carpet Awards

PAINESVILLE, OHIO — Raider Nation rolled out the red carpet on Saturday, May 23, as Harvey High School hosted its second annual Red Raider Awards, an evening dedicated to honoring the outstanding accomplishments, leadership, and dedication of its student-athletes throughout the 2025-26 school year. The celebration brought together athletes, coaches, families, staff, and community members for a memorable night recognizing the hard work and commitment displayed across all athletic programs. From breakout performances to academic and athletic excellence, the event highlighted the pride and tradition that continue to define Red Raider athletics. One of the evening’s featured recognitions honored the school’s Heritage Three-Sport Athletes student-athletes who demonstrated exceptional commitment by competing in three different sports during the academic year. The impressive list of honorees reflected the versatility, toughness, and school pride that embody Raider Nation. Awards presented throughout the evening included honors such as Newcomer of the Year, Performance of the Year, Heritage Athlete of the Year, and the prestigious Athlete of the Year recognition. Video presentations and highlight reels showcased unforgettable moments from the year while celebrating the impact student-athletes made both on and off the field. The Red Raider Awards continue to grow into one of Harvey High School’s premier athletic traditions, providing an opportunity to recognize not only athletic achievement, but also leadership, sportsmanship, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.
